Health Promotion Specialist

Lamaa Beidas is the Passaic Prevention Hub Coordinator, Health Promotion Specialist, and Youth Coordinator for Incorruptible. Us Passaic Youth, where she leads substance use prevention initiatives and empowers youth to advocate for tobacco-free communities through education and grassroots activism. She delivers targeted educational programs on the safe use of over-the-counter medications—particularly for seniors and parents—and conducts both qualitative and quantitative research to support community needs assessments and inform program development. Lamaa also manages the organization’s digital presence, including its social media platforms and website. She is an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University, sharing her public health and epidemiology expertise with the new generation of health professionals. Lamaa holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Damascus, a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from William Paterson University, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) and fluent Arabic speaker, she brings cultural competence and academic rigor to every facet of her work.
