Vanesa has been working UPinPC as a research student in 2012 and has been working for the coalition since 2015. She is responsible for implementing substance use prevention initiatives among Passaic City youth using a public health approach. She co-supervises Mayor Hector Lora's Youth Council, collects and reports local data, hosts community meetings, develops and promotes educational campaigns, and collaborates with local organizations to engage in community outreach. Vanesa holds a B.S. in Public Health and a Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A) from William Paterson University. Vanesa is fluent in Spanish.
