UPinPC presented the film "Screenagers Under the Influence," which discusses the use of vaping, drugs, and alcohol in the context of the digital age.

United for Prevention in Passaic County collaborated with the National Marijuana Initiative to host the marijuana learning series.

Tackling Opioids through Prevention for Athletes: An Update

Jennifer Carpinteri, the Behavioral Health Manager of Community Services across Atlantic Health System, presented "COVID19 Fatigue: How to Better Support our Communities and Ourselves."

Employees from establishments of Passaic County were TIPS trained. This training included tips to get hired.

The 6th annual awards and appreciation breakfast recognized our "Partners in Prevention," our elected officials and coalition members.

Community nalaxone training at William Paterson University included overdose prevention strategies, signs and symptoms of overdose, how to administer naloxone, rescue breathing, overdose prevention legal rights, and support information and resources.

United for Prevention collaborated with the Passaic County Municipal Alliances and the Office of Superintendent of Schools to create the Passaic County Teen Summit.

UPinPC worked with Hawthorne Gospel Church to create awareness about the Heroin Epidemic, law enforcement, state official presentation and local community resources.

Atlantic Health System awarded UPinPC with the 2015 Empower Award for "empowering our communities to be the healthiest in the nation."

UPinPC held its 1st event that recognized and celebrated community partnerships, members and elected coalition officials.

Sherrine Schuldt presented on the strategic plan. Action Team and Leadership Team's reported on progress that was made. The by-laws were presented and open officer positions announced to begin as of July 1st.

William Paterson University is awarded the Regional Coalition Grant from the New Jersey Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (NJDMHAS).
